Linda Patton, aged 71, passed away in her home on April 11, 2024. She was born May 23, 1952, in Norristown, PA. In the 70s, Linda would become a lifelong resident of Winthrop, MA. In the winter, she spent her time with her husband, Roger Lambert, at their winter lodge in Bartlett, NH, enjoying Cranmore Mountain alongside their friends. Linda was the M.I.T. Residential Life & Dining Assistant Director, where she worked in the Off-Campus Housing Division of Student Life for over 30 years. Being an organizer of MIT's Graduation, year after year, was something she looked forward to. Between enjoying a rum and coke on the beaches of Martha's Vineyard and sailing through the Caribbean, she loved relaxing near the water. Not only was she a long time member of the Winthrop Yacht Club, she was one of the very few women to be a Flag Member. She was an avid reader of books, a magician of crosswords, and never missed the Sunday paper. Linda lives on through her sister, Gloria "Cookie" Romano, and her numerous nieces and nephews.
